he never said anything... but I see a 3 pt hitch in that bin in the last pic and he said "everything cub related goes with it" so I would assume it has a 3 pt.

A couple Pics of the Motor for the Second Cub...
It is a K161, but looks like one from a 70 with that PTO and basket on the front.

Cool

Looks like you beat me to it...I did call about it.
that other motor is for an original also.Hopefully you get the linkage to use the pto on a O.
Are you going to finish this one first being it is almost done?
Did he give you any extra paint to finish it?

Nice score

I think I am going to restore it first, he didn't say anything about extra paint, but we will see when I get there on Saturday!

Where does the linkage hook up to on an O?

It attaches to the dash tower.I had a install instruction not sure where it is though.
Make sure you get all the cub stuff you can get your hands on.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
