Default 6x12 wheels
I put a set on my original. to make it look like an original .

question: the valve stem is on the inside on one set I have. is this correct or for another tractor?

the guy I got them from used them for inside duals. that way he could air up the inside tire with out taking the outside wheel off.

Don't know for sure, but the two I had, both were on the outside.
They were the wheels that came with the tractor.

Someone told me that JD's were on the "wrong side" of the wheel. I have seen this on the front of my friends JD, but I don't know about the back wheels.

JD's, and a few other models for that matter, are on the opposite side because of how they mount them on their tractors backward from what the Cubs are. Don't think they were shipped like that. Those are from another brand more than likely. Not that it would really matter as far as usage.

I have a pair of rear Sears that are like that on my 169 and with the brakes, it's not a good combo-so I will be changing that in time, but on an original it doesn't really matter for clearance.

Hey Doug, when I ran my duals on my original I reversed the inside set so as to make it have a narrower stance & give the rear axle a shorter look. I can still access the valve stems of the inside set of tires, too. See what you think:

ya I like that alot. thanks for the pic. I'll be getting some ag and tri rib tires ordered soon.

I need to get all the wheels blasted and primed before the new rubber go's on
