Default How do I...
OK, I am having a problem of course. I need to install a new lock button on the 1200 lift arm. I have already ruined one trying to get it in. What is the best way to install this thing?

hmmm...I know the button is there but always figured it was akin to the "walk/don't walk" button on a city street corner (connected to nothing).

Whats a lock button? you know all you have to doo is take the key out and it's locked lol. Otherwise i got no idea.

I would try finding something to fit over the button that will hit the slightly larger part before you press it in, it's VERY thin on top where it holds the button in the unit. This is just a guess, ive never done it before.

Yep, I did that with a socket that I thought fit perfectly. It did press it in real nice, but as you say the top is thin and it pressed the top in and wouldn't let the button work. I tried removing it to work on it and the button and spring came flying out as the thin top kind of peeled off.

Might try a pice of pipe,or a spacer. Other than that I'm really not sure how to go about it, sure is an expensive little thing , isn't it?
