Lightbulb bigger motor ?
I am looking into putting a 18hp twin briggs on my cadet 70, has anyone on here done this befor or know how much it trouble it is?

Why on earth would anyone want to put a Briggs & Stratton engine in a Cub Cadet???

Yosemite Sam, I agree. I feel that tractor was built and designed for 7 horses and that's all it needs. And it needs to be a Kohler.
Just my $.02 worth.

It is a oppose style twin , I have been wanting to build a tractor like this for a while now just to play around with.I didn"t mean to up set anyone , this tractor was a basket case when I got it had already been striped of original motor , good solid frame though.I know ya have seen these type tractors at shows?

I have never seem a Cub Cadet 70 with a oppose twin Briggs in it. Best thing to do is stay with a Kohler motor in it. Anything from a 7 to 16 horsepower will fit with some mild modifications.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
