Default trick or treat

Well finally after 7 months of lookin under bushes and back yards having bought one and got the rug pulled out from under me we finally found one...lol..I had to bad mouth craigs list about nothing ever being there and sure enough I did and there it was.The cool thing about this is Im finally off the hook on a promise I made.Did ya ever see a bigger smile..lol..The wait was worth it....Shes a 149 not to bad of shape I think, altho Im new to these tractors...Shift lever is a little loose she wants to pick up speed as you go. No major leaks I can see in the hydro one little one on the lift cylinder.New starter rebuilt front pto...Tires not to bad...Mowing decks a little beat up but solid. Runs real solid no unusual engine noises and no smoke......I ended up giving 300 bucks for her this morning well guys tell me what ya think...

Glad you finally found one, Hayden really looks tickled. after you work that thing over, he will get to work it over again with his son some day.

It looks like it's in really good shape, not a bad price either.

Congratulations

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
