The hitch on my 100 doesn't look like that. Mine's angled more on the sides of the hole and not as thick as that one.

yah i know thats how all my other hitches are too this is is about 1/4" thick and the best part is its bent like someone pulled too much weight with it! i guess there has been a lot of custom work on this cub over the years, its got that 14hp in it, the 3-pin clutch driver is cracked and broken from too much strain, there was a notch cut into the frame, the fenders have hles drilled into them, the seat mounting plate had a set of mout holes in front of the stock ones, the list goes on and on....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
