Angry 102 drive shaft problem

I made a new cold rolled drive shaft for the 1o2 creeper drive clutch unit.
Everthing seem to go bad together good but the coupling at the end of the shaft. The roll pin will not go down thru the shaft and out the other side of the coupling. Should I enlarge the hole in the shaft to make this fit? taking a chance that the roll pin will fall out. I saw a post were some one used a nut and bolt rather then a spirol pin, that could wereout the new shaft quickly.
How about a tension spring? I hate to build or order a new shaft because time is limited before the snow flys. I am open to Ideas.

It sounds like the hole in the new driveshaft or coupling isn't centered. You could make the hole larger in the driveshaft and use a bolt.....the pin needs to be tight or it will end up ruining the coupler.

Best thing to do is buy or build another driveshaft.
