I inquired a 582 about 5 years ago but about a year ago the original briggs took a dump on me. So i found a Honda GX620 and bought it. It runs great its in the tractor but i have a vibration in the drive line because i made an adapter for the clutch driver. I am in need of someone that can machine an adapter if anyone has any information on a machine shop that i can contact would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cody

Jeff
I think what he needs is an adapter to bolt to the crank that will accept the 3 pin clutch driver sort of like the adapters that Mid West Super Cub sells for Kohlers and Vanguards but for a Honda. The pic is from there catalog but it should give you an idea. Mac

You need some ductwork at the front to get the cooling air out the front grille, too. From what I've heard, those Honda V-twins run hot, so it needs all the help it can get.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
