| Santa Duke arrived today

Duke, (Methos), stopped by this afternoon and dropped off some goodies. His sled was stacked with all sorts of nice toys to choose from . I found a nice engine and hydraulic lift for my nephew's 73 along with a nice steering wheel for it too. Also a really nice Brinly rear blade just happened to jump off the sled and hid in my shop LOL. We had a great hour or so talking up Cubs and attachments before he had to leave. I figure he'll be making another trip up this way before too long again.

I've got to get some. Will try to get them tomorrow. Summer has just been too hot to do anything in the shop, and I have had to spend time on some projects here at home that kept me from doing much. I hope to get some work done this fall on it. Hopefully have it ready for paint and assembly in the spring.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
