Hmm, got the 129 here that I really have no need for. I listed it for sale on cl but no takers. So I am htinking ot part her out, the frame is good, as is the engine, and pto clutch the hyrdo is ported and the hydro lift works great. I just have too much with the 126 and 107 to do that this one will never get worked on. What are your thoughts? Should I part it or hang on for a buyer....

I think I'd have a difficult time parting one out too.

I don't necessarily want to part it out, I would much rather sell it whole to a good home but really could use the money for some parts for the 126 resto that will be upon me soon...planning many upgrades so naturally it take slots of cash to buy the goodies..

Part it out. It's worth more as parts than a running tractor. Ask me how I know. I have 2 of the sweetest Supers for sale that I spent a ton of $$$$ and all I get is cheap jerks asking if I will take less than I have in them. I'm all done saving Cubs.

Where is the cl link? How come no pictures here? I have enuff to do with IH Cub Cadets or I'd buy it. We need parts to keep them going! Sam, I would rather buy your supers any day before I dump 2k on anything new. I'am eaziley pushing 3k into my 72 resto and I'am not close to being done, sort-a.

I had my 1882 with a brand new $1500 engine and a bunch of other new stuff advertised for $3000 and got no serious takers so I pulled the new engine out and put a used CH22 in it and listed it for $1800.00 had a guy that thought he was going to buy it with the new engine for that price, give me a break. For $1800 it's worth more as parts let alone with a new engine. Sorry fro my rant but if you want cheap go to Home Cheapo. Your 72 will probably be better than new when your done and as long as it's for your self and you enjoy God Bless. ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
