Hey, you were right! The new Autolite #216 spark plug was junk!
 The 71 had been acting up here and there by cutting out, and catching back on. I did check the points and seen nice white/blue spark between the contacts. That led me to try a diffrent plug for the "love of pete"! Went with your recomendation: Champion H10C and now the tractor is running like a saw! Thanks for all your help, BTW!  -johncub7172-p.s- These tractors cant be realy all that hard to fix, after all there are only a few things that need looked at, right? Because most of the time the motor just dont "untime" it's self!

I had autolite plugs in my Farmall B and it started wasn't running right so my uncle changed plugs and put champions in and then it started missing really bad. I put new points and condenser on it and it still did it. Finally I put the autolites back in and haven't had a problem since. I haven't found a consistant spark plug brand though. Every one I have tried seem to have there issues. It seems to me you just have to get lucky.

Not to say Autolite brand is bad, I just happen to get a plug that seems to have went bad with in 7-8 hours run time. So we will wait and see what this Champion H10C will do. Funny, I pulled the Champion to replace with the Autolite.

I've used Champion and haven't had an issue, but I can relate to something being ok then it being crud.
