1650 front axle and spindle variation question
Hey guys,
I have bot a later 1650 with 1" spindles and an earlier 1450 with 3/4" spindles... Is one preferred over the other? Also, did the axle change between the two era's??? I'm planning to sell the extra parts but want to keep the best for myself  Thanks!

The 1" spindles are preferred just for the Heavy duty use you can do with them, such as a FEL. The 3/4" are easier to find rims for and you can use the narrow type front rims with the 3/4" setup.

Boy I can relate to that. I have a 2084 torn apart, a snow blower torn down for repainting and a mower deck torn down. I have a two car garage and both vehicles have to sit outside. At least all the other tractors are in the shed.

A 70 with deck. 2 102s both with 42 in decks, one with creeper, 1 36 inch IH snow thrower CW36, 1 42 inch IH blade. 149 with mower. 2072 w 3 pt hitch, Johnny bucket, 60 in mower, 451 blower. Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.
