Default new to me 126

Found another Cub, this time a 126, the old owner said he could not get the carb to set right, it only took a new air filter, fresh air helps for some reason. needs a little work on it, someone had changed out the k-301 to a k-241 and pull a bigger deck on it, but it runs good, had new front tires, not to bad of a haul.

Great find Donny on a nice looking 126 with some cool extras! I wonder why people have the 3 point hitch on their cub, but seem to be missing the lower bracket for the transmission? That's the 3rd cub that I have seen like that in about a month....

Just trying to get them out of the weeds, just trying to find new homes for them, they need to be used, not turn into a rust bucket

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
