Default Cub Cadet 982 Hydro

A couple days ago I bought a 982 hydro it has a Hubana grader blade that is hydralic, a 20 hp onan that starts and runs, rear pto shaft, 60 in. deck that operates off the hydralics too. Was wondering what this mower could be worth......any ideas? The mower is in really good shape.

I watch one on ebay about a month ago it had 3 point, rear pto, turning brakes, 50" deck, and no front hydraulics sell in the 2200.00 range. It really depends on options, accessories and condition as to what they will bring. Lets see some pictures!

I haven't either, but the older I get the more I know that there are many things that I don't know......My price range for those would be $1200-$1700, price is always subject to the buyers opinion of what (s)he values it at and what the cash flow is like.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
