Default 2 Cub Haul

Heard through the grapevine about a local guy hauling off all his junk he had in his backyard. I eased over there Monday and we talked a bit and then he showed me around. I told him there were a few things I was interested in, but he wouldnt give me a price. He asked me to come back the next day and he would have it all pulled out so I can get a better look at it.

Next day I get there, and give everything a good once over and we strike up a deal. Lets just say I got a very good deal. Here are the pics of the junk or goodies.

The 4 wheel weights laying in the bed are for Allis/Simplicity garden tractors. I saw a set on their site yesterday in the same condition asking $150.00.

I did get hold of some other items but they are off topic so the pics have been omitted.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
