Any experience with these carbs? Price of $76 seems good.

I have heard that they are adjusted for factory presets and if you deviate from that they are a PITA to get right again. But, with that being said, I think I would give one a shot at that price.

Looks like they have both if you go to their store. They say they have KT17 series 1 & 2 rods also.

I have a #30 carb just like it that I had reworked and I use it on one of my pulling tractors. No problems yet.

Ditto, I am confused. Header states 26 carb., item specfics states 30 carb. Confusion over, 30 carb. 3$ more according to there store site. At that price may be worth getting one to try out.

Send the seller a question. It can't hurt, I find most honest sellers are willing to talk.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
