Default Picked up some IH iron over the weekend

I talked myself into getting the 682 that I asked "what it was worth" on here. This is the best looking original paint tractor that I have seen. What a deep shine it has. I got it from the original owner that purchased it in 82 for $3200. It looks like a late production 682 with a serial # of 6935xx.

I also picked up this 100 for some reason that I can't think of right now.

Very nice looking 682! and you just never know why you might need a 100 in the fleet haha.

They're a little too far east and little too far north for me to hear of them. but either way, still having the dealer sticker on a machine is always a plus!

If you had dropped that 100 off at my place, I would have told you EVERYTHING I know about Herschberger Truck Sales!

Okay, Okay... I've never heard of them... Never heard of Mundelein Il, either.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
