Default 1450 no start
I picked up a 1450 today with a plow but no deck. The guy couldn't get it started so I made an offer of $200 and took it home. After I got it home I tried for about an hour with no luck on getting it started. Has spark getting fuel but no start. Pulled off the side cover pulled air cleaner and shot starting fluid in there but still nothing. kinda confused what should I look for or check next?

Did you try shooting some fluid down into the plug hole and put the plug back in and see if it fires that way. It may be getting fuel to carb but not onto the combustion chambers. Does it have compresssion?

Didn't try that, took the bowl off the bottom of carb not to bad, I can here the compression will take the plug out and try that. It was just used to plow snow but was only used once this season so it has been sitting

Ran into this this year. Not enough spark and a coil fixed it!
