Default Who Made These Cast Iron Wheel Weights

I recently picked up two sets of wheel weights for a great price. They are cast iron. I think they are simplicity/allis weights. Does anyone have an idea what they are from, how much they are worth and how much they weigh as I haven't had an opportunity to weigh them yet. However I can fit 2 weights in each wheel and they fit in the wheel nice and flush. Also, I need carriage bolts to hold them in place, what size bolts do you think I need?

Thanks,
Charles

I just put some weights on my 784 and the carriage bolts were 1/2 x 7". Thats a 23x10.50-12 tire, and the bolts stick out about an inch. Don't know if that helps, but it's my

Charles, depending on your off set on your rims will change what carriage bolts you'll need. Measure from the carriage bolt hole to the outside of the rim and give your self some room for a nut and lock washer.

Thanks for the response guys. I found out the thinner and wider ones are Simplicity Landlord weights which weigh 47.6lbs. I still haven't found out if the smaller and thicker ones are simplicity but I think they are, and they weigh 57.2lbs. So it looks pretty good to me as that adds 104.8lbs to the wheels on my cub 1000. I am also adding steel plate weights to the frame. I stole the idea from Cadplans who added 4- .75"x5"x12" steel plates to his cub 1000 which added 55lbs on the frame over the rear end. I have a friend who is the manager at a machine shop cut me two 1.5"x5"x12" steel plates out of a piece that has been on their shelf for 5-10 years with their plasma table for free. All I had to do was pay the $15 shipping to my house.

This is what cadplans did:

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
