Talking Took a little trip today....

Took a trip up to NC today with Vince 0 to pick up Alans 1250 and Todds 882 along the way a sweet little 125 was scored. It is a complete one owner machine with hydraulic lift, a full complement of lights, ags, 2 decks, nice brinley plow, and a set of cultivators. The machine was bought brand new in 1969 it's in awesome shape for a 44 year old machine was very well cared and never left in the weather, it does have about an inch of dust on it but will clean up very nicely. I'll be picking it up from Vince's in a couple days. Check out the whole lot of pics of the load. Alan and Jenn have the pics from the meet up at David's place today where we met them and Earl Sarvey. Great road trip and nice to meet some guys..

Looks like you guys had fun. Sorry I couldn't make it but it was play with tractors or take the Harley out for a ride and the Harley won the toss. You just don't get many days like yesterday in January to ride.

It was 60 degrees in this part of MI. on Sat and the only thing that stopped me from taking the Harley out for a ride was my road which is a sea of mud right now. Instead I painted some cub parts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
