Brown truck was here
The brown truck was here and brought me this. I got it shipped from Amazon for $44.20. We will see how much butchering has to be done to the front plate to install.

I never wanted to dig in and chop up the plate so I went with one of these. I simply attach it to one of those appliance timers and have it turn on about a few hours before I need to get out and clear the driveway.
heater.jpg Even though I do have a NOS CC lower heater hose heater and a NOS CC battery warming mat, I think this was the easiest for me. Let us know how it goes.

got the old one out pretty strait forward. got the new one put in head and hogged out the hole in the plate and put some paint on it. heres a pic of the hole in the head. post more pics later paint is drying rite now so i took a break.

first pic is from top second is from front i wraped a hose around the cord so it dont rub thru

few more pics of the hole in the bracket i used a drill and a die grinder to make hole and radiused the edges to try to avoid future cracking
actually went pretty quick maybe took 1 1/2 hours to do. got called back to work for a week i guess so ill have update on how it starts next week or so

i found this while i was in there looks like a PO had the fan bracket break and or crack and had it welded looks like its holding up fine to me
