Default some good finds

I traded a Q36 snow blower to a member for a Brinly cultivator and a 48" IH peg tooth drag both in tip top condition (thanks Bruce). Today I bought a narrow frame front blade for 50 bucks in really nice condition and a 122 in excellent shape for $200. The guy has about 70 mower decks and a lot of misc tractors and other items. He has a small engine business just north of Meadville PA, used to be an Ariens dealer. I can post his contact info if any one might be interested. His prices are quite reasonable

I also just traded a 12hp Tecumseh for a 147(??) hydro rearend if anyone might want it. Haven't seen it yet but should by mid next week.

I would also like the info, I live in Meadville and can't think of where you are talking about. The hydro rear , would it happen to be an internal brake ?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
