Hi all!! I know it's been a while but I have to finish this CC 100 and I can't remember 1/2 the stuff I was supposed to...
1) Lock washers, where do they go? I have all new ones so they must go somewhere. 2) Is there any drawings on how the engine is assembled and attached to the transmission? I looked in the books we have here and there is no clear drawings/instructions on how all the sheet metal goes on, the coil, condenser, and linkage. I have a basket case here so lots of DBL/missing parts. 3) Has anyone seen my foot rests? lol OOps here they are! Thanks!! Mouse

As far as the engine goes go by your 102, as far as frame, trans the 70 is where you should look. I don't know how far apart you have the engine, but a good kohler manual is a big help. Hope this helps you out! Can't wait to see your progress!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
