Default 149 project

A buddy of mine's dad has this old 149 he use's for tilling. It's pretty well shot, I'll take some picture's of the PO mods on this thing when I take it apart. Anyway I told him I would try to fix it up some for him, well long story short, It's not worth fixing. So I was able to sneak over to Mike's (cubcrazy) this morning and pick up this roller (well not quite a roller when we loaded it) right Mike . Anyway I'm gonna put the two together later today and tomorrow and make one nice 149 for him to till with. Thanks again Mike for the roller and the help loading it, (we won't tell the guys how we loaded it ) Looks pretty good after a bath !

Eric you've got to be the only person that cleans them before you fix them! Come on Mike spill the beans on getting it loaded! This is going to be another great project to follow!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
