Default The "O" is home

Well I got the "O" home and she's a dandy. She's used, but not used up The numbers are 20870.
As you can see, seems someone went crazy with a torch, yeh! More patch work to do. That's ok, I like a challenge. The seat isn't in to bad of shape, hoods rough, steering is gone and I don't know if it runs yet. But boy it shure is pretty though. One man's junk is anothers treasure
The deck is in good shape and the blower seems to be in real good condition, so all in all, not a bad haul.
Going to enjoy this build someday, but it's down the road. For now I'm going to put it to bed in a nice dry shed, soaked down with P.B.

That’s right, but the best part of restoring one is stepping back and looking at it from all the different angles after it is done and remembering what it looked like before. I can’t wait to see this one come together. Looking forward to it Zippy.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
