Default New Guy from P.A.

Been looking this site over very informative and helpful, I had sent a newer Craftsman mower to the repair shop and the guy held on to it and always had some excuse as to why it was not fixed. I got a little mad and he said he would give me a loner to use well I went and picked up this 129 and brought it home and boy am I hooked on Cub Cadets the quality of these tractors is incredible so long story short he kept screwing around with the sears crap and I told him I would just trade him even up and he said OK, and boy do I like this 129. Hopefully the picture will upload and thats my Little grandaughter Sofia

Default Welcome to "yellow fever"

It was challenging at first to explain why a 40 year old tractor is better than the $3 and $4K (or more) stuff that the neighbors keep shuffling back and forth to the dealer....But, this web-site has helped me feel good about my addiction to yellow-n-white.

Love the pic man! Glad you're so into the Cub. Didn't take long, did it? I was the same way with my 129. I did a lot of research beforehand that made me appreciate the machines that they are, but it wasn't until I got time to drive it that I realized just how sweet they are

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
