You could have bought a lot of old Cubs for what you got tied up in that car
  Just kiddin ya. I don't know much about raceing but its a great looking car. I do have a question, What is the sleeve looking thing around the air filter? Does it stay on while you run it? Or just on while its parked.

I dont mean to butt in , I hope its ok.
here are two pics of my Sons car from three years ago. It shows the reason of the boot over the air cleaner. Weatherizer, for traveling or just sitting out.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
