Angry Is there a place to buy parts in MA?

Hi,
I live it Sterling MA and I can't find a place that sells Cub Cadet parts. Every body blows me off or they order the wrong parts and gives me crap wen I go to return them. I was trying to set the timing then I look at the points and they are not the same but they would not take them back. They said I didn't have a clue.

being you have a Kohler engine you should be able to get points for it from all sorts of places, even a green tractor dealer will have them. Just tell the guy you have a K321 engine and need a points set, if he can't help you it may very well be him who does not have a clue.

Question

thats what I was thinking. I think the shops would rather sell you a new tractor or should I say lawn mower than look up parts in a book.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
