Default New to me Cub 100

Picked up a 100 yesterday from my uncles house. I used it when i was a kid to mow. It has been sitting for about 8 years. My uncle said it was running rough when it was parked. The engine was replaced in the 80's with a 12hp. I have the mower deck, rear lift with sleeve hitch and front blade. There is also a cart that I am going to pick up later after I get it running. A quick look over it, clutch/brake pedal was stiff, throttle cable worked fine, choke didn't work at all(cable issue), seat is ripped but he had a rear engine cub that looks like it has the same seat, add on hydraulics lever won't budge. Of course I need battery and the gas is very old. The plan is to use it for pushing snow in the winter. I'm sure I will come up with other uses for it though. Goal is to get it running and functional this summer and maybe next year paint it. I'm confident in the things that need to be done, except for the add on hydraulic pump. Does anyone have a link to a tear down?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
