Throttle linkage
I've been messing with one of my new 149's, took the lift assembly off the donor and put it on the one a bought last year, had it running to see how the lift worked, and the engine started to run away, so I shut it down and started to investigate, and found that the linkage had come off the carburator. Trying to put it back on I found that the linkage that goes onto the small ball, not sure of the right name, has been worn to the point of not staying on the ball. Don't know if you can see it in the pic, but are these available. There is one on my donor, but don't know if it's in the same shape or not. Thanks

I have seen that part on Cub Classics web site, you will only need to order the piece that contains the ball joint...I am thinking they were listed for like $5.00.
I was wrong, they are $10.00 top of page 5 Kohler parts, part number is 237130-S...it looks slightly different than the original, but I am sure that is the right one!
