Any quick solutions? I have just a little adhesive left on a tire, after masking to paint a rim out in the sun. I'm thinking of WD 40, usually removes about anything.

WD 40 works good, or try some brake fluid, just don't get it on the paint.

Also, you could use some "lighter fluid".

A little laquer thinner works great too, but don't get it on the paint---it will easily remove it with the greatest of ease!!

use another piece of tape and just stick it and pull over and over again. Most of the time the adhesive on the new tape will remove the old. No threat of removing any paint and will get the job done
Good Luck

I have used Goof Off to remove the tape residue and occasional paint over spray from tires. Not only does it remove the unwanted stuff from the tires but it also gives them a show room shine that lasts!!!

I ended up using the lacquer thinner and it took the adhesive off with no problem.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
