I hope everyone like's looking at pics as much as I do. Anyway, I did a little mowing today and thought I would get a couple of good shots of "Pride" and "Joy". The 1512 has been restored, but the 1872 is all original, execpt for the hood decals.

I love the Diesel! And you will too! The "Super" is hard to beat as well. I noticed your location is Ontario. It's good to see that "Cub Fever" is every where!!!!!

Dierek,
Very nice Cubs you have - sort of like kids they are each special and great in their own way. I have an 1811 since new and it looks like a junior 1872 - thanks for sharing your pics |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
