Default another "Whats it worth"but please help a newb out

I have the chance to buy a #1 tiller with extensions and everything that goes with it from a friend but need to know what a fair price is to both of us.This is all for NF tractor .I live in North Eastern Ct.Please advise the prices of each major part meaning Tiller and mounts ,tiller gearbox and mount and the top lift arm and linkage for the rear lift. The tiller is a working unit and has some minor dents in the hinged rear cover I can buy just the rear lift parts but he will not sell the tiller and drive parts separate. This could lead to more purchases later.
Thank you
Leon

I bought this #2 tiller for $300. It came with 2 WF belts, gear box, and a WF mule drive. (Also have rear belt shield, just not on in picture)

I was planning on putting it on a NF so I bought a new NF belt for around $100. And I already had a NF mule drive.

And on the lift, I have around $100 in my NF lift.

Hope this helps

I bought a 1A tiller with one extension, the belts, and the rear mounted 90 degree gearbox for $400. It's in really good shape, definitely wasn't used much. My tractor already had the rear lift on it, but those regularly sell for about $100.
If you need everything and he has it, it saves you a lot of time and aggravation from trying to piece something together. I'd offer him $400 for the lot to start and see what he says.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
