Default Re-powered 782 for sale

I have a nice 782 that I re-powered with a Vanguard twin 16 from Small Endine Warehouse 4 years ago. The engine has 120 hours on it. I also had a heavy duty driveshaft made by the guy in PA referenced on the forums. The rear tires are new and the hydronic fluid changed last year. I also put in a new PTO clutch from extreme clutch, very heavy solid clutch. The 52-inch deck needs a belt and some minor welding but overall has many years left on it. I also have a very thick heavy snow blade in excellent condition and a set of chains. We are moving south to a warmer climate and our new place has a postage stamp lot so I won’t need my dear Cub any longer. I’m in Rural Retreat, VA which is in Southwest, VA. Asking $1400. If I were a betting man, I'd say that is a 50C deck, not a 52"

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
