Default Blue angels

This upcoming weekend there will be an airshow at the Arnold Palmer airport in Latrobe which is about 30 minutes from me. Every year the have the Blue Angels flying and the best part is I don't even have to go to the show to see them, for the week leading up to the event they practice in the airspace above our body shop so I get to see all there cool tricks while I'm at work. Kinda hard to get anything done while something so awesome is going on outside.

Good for you!
They are on their upper Midwest tour for the month of June.
Then they will be "home" each week for pretty much the rest of the season.
They have an airshow to attend each weekend until Nov.
They come home to Pensacola around 6:30pm on Sundays no matter what show they are coming home from.
Then they have a Wednesday morning practice on NAS Pensacola.
Then they take off for the next airshow on Friday.
Wednesday mornings are when the dogs freak out as they buzz over the house at 1000 feet.

Our house is under their flight path, exactly four miles to the airstrip.

The Hot Rod Power Tour went thru last year, I stood out in the parking lot and watched cars go by for 30 minutes to an hour. Some things you gotta watch.

I got a chance to see "The Blues" at Westover AF base in Mass years ago, absolutely incredible! They also had flyovers with B-52's and C5's along with many other cool planes. Golden Knights did a parachute show. Killer air show.

We get them over Grand Traverse Bay every 2 years, last year was an on year and we got to take the 4 grandsons, AWESOME show! The Boys had a blast, pretty cool seeing them out over that blue water. I also work right next to the airport here so get to run outside to see them on practice runs.
It is a great thing for our country and I would go every year if they came.
Enjoy!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
