Most of the Ones I have seen are pretty cool. I think a Member at MTF who Might have been a Member here Might Have done One 10 years ago. The Only downside I have seen On Most is No Power steering that I could see.

Thats interesting I'm curious as to why they would not have P.S. but for me think just the cool factor of 4x4 would overcome the fact it does lack P.S.

I guess it depends On what You're doing with the tractor. Just riding around, the Lack of Power steering probably doesn't matter much or if It Can be shifted back to 2WD. The Cub 70 with 4WD I have seen, I think, was in 4WD all the time and couldn't be shifted back to 2WD. While cool, it seems it's Just Not Practicable for Garden tractor work. My 2012 John Deere X748 with AWD is very Practicable for Garden and Utility tractor work because it has the same turning radius as a 2WD John Deere X700 series 25-inch. But 4WD is not fun sometimes, even with power steering.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
