Hello guys
I bought a Cub Cadet LTX-1045 with a Kohler SV-590-3230 with 145 hours. I think it is a 2012 model and the guy did zero maintenance. I have had a 2 week crash course in the Kohler courage engines.

I have it running decent but have ordered a new carburetor for it. All of the parts diagrams I look at I notice a heat shield between the carb and head but my mower does not have this. Did some models come without the heat shield?
