I'll get some pics at my next attempt. It's tough to see looking down into the fuel "spit back cup" as cub calls it. I did find the studs were loose but tightening made no difference. I'm planning to call the cub dealer tomorrow. Nothing missing, I checked the manual JIC. I left the nuts on the stud bolts not quite snugged up and that lets the choke plate close fully. It's a 16hp Kohler engine single cylinder. I'm beginning to wonder if the 2 studs are the issue. If one was screwed in further than the other I wonder if it might make the air cleaner base twist the carb when tightened up?
