So I picked up a well worn but for the most part solid 129 last weekend. Gave $200 for it because the engine ran excellent, the hydro seemed fine, and despite some cosmetic damage (hood damaged, rear fender bent) it wasn't rusted at all.

The more I look at it, the more stuff I find cobbled together........... seems previous owners never "Fixed" anything......they just rigged it up with whatever they had LOL.


I'm starting with the deck. Looks like it did at one time have wheels, otherwise missing one skid.

Looking at other 129's W/ the 42" deck appears they don't have wheels.

Do I need them?
