On the odd chance I tip, I think my leg/foot would hit the ground first and push back upright. I agree if you're going sideways on steep hills (e.g. mowing - which I only occasionally do with 1 of my Cubs) it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Reverse is an OSHA scam Cub defeated w/ the reverse/caution switch.
