I have to agree with the others, it sounds like all you need to do is reset that "Service Reminder" to get that light to go out. I "think" you would be fine to run the mower until you can find out how that is accomplished.
I have looked through the Kohler and Cub Cadet sites to see how to do this. Haven't found it yet.

My engine model no is FR651V, the filter no is...KH-12-050-01-5, I have purchased a compatible part off Ebay, I have assumed that the part is totally compatible.
I have to hope that it is the sensor, I would have imagined it would have continued to flash if it was an pressure problem. I will give it a run out the next day or so, I'll let you know how things go.
