The loose cup is a recent thing, within the last year. I have had the cub for 15 years, and have replaced the entire drive line at one time or another, and noticed the drive cup was loose when I was checking the drive coupling so I think the PO, or the Cub dealer that serviced it may be the source of this problem. It’s still a mystery why there was no washer under the crankshaft nut, and why
I can’t find in any parts diagram. And that’s all I know about that. Thanks !
