I usually set mine to the same height as Roland, regardless of what surface I am plowing over. If I try to get every last part of the snow, then I create ice patches where people have walked or tires have been, etc., which creates ice patches. So, I like to have a light snow layer that can easily be walked on or moved across with ease. Of course, after walking on it several times, it is likely that this too will become icy.
