OK.....as best as I can see, I think I have straightened this situation out. The Seat Switch (725-3093) is NLA from Cub Cadet. The Cub Cadet wiring Diagram has mislabeled the Seat Switch function. It is "NO" (normally open) as opposed to NC (normally closed).

IF........functioning correctly, one has to be in the seat for the PTO to work. If one leaves the seat, the PTO will stop.

I do not own a 1715 thus all my research is done with Cub Cadet material at hand. If someone has some further or better information, please chime in.
