Any spec numbers on the 500 special motor? Does the dipstick come out the top like a Cub Cadet, or does it screw in?
You may have to change the bearing plate on the WH one when you want to use the Cub flywheel. Muffler may be an issue if the block has no threads for a nipple.
You will have to change the oil pan.
