That's what I would have said in post #2.
Why do people think that we are just going to say,
"OH, it's the XXXXX. Replace that and it will be fine." With electrical components, you (owner, OP, guy fixing the tractor) are going to have to find and repair the problem. Not much we can do besides explain the electrical diagram to you and tell you what to test, and in what order.
OP, do you need a copy of the schematic?
