A 140 is just on the small side but better than nothing.

With a drill press, make sure the belts are at least 3/8" ( 1/2" would be better ) wide and the drill chuck itself is held in using a MT style taper ( Morse Taper ). That way if the drill chuck is ever damaged, it's much easier to change it plus it opens up the opportunity to use different tools in the spindle.
