I'm not sure what your budget is but I would go look for a used Kubota B or BX series machine if you want a tractor. We mow 4-5 acres a week with our B7500 with 60" deck and they are a beast. + we are still running the original deck belt at 1500 hours.
Those IH machines are 1950 technology are very under powered from what I hear.
