You should just loosen the line a 1/4-1/2 turn @ the injectors one @ a time and crank it.
It should squirt fuel from the loosened fitting and that bleeds air out of it.
To answer your question:
Yes, a diesel shop can test and adjust the cracking pressure of the injectors.
I have done a few. it is not something you can do yourself effectively.
What you can do, is remove the injector and hook it to the line and crank it to see if it will spray a cone pattern.
( different engines have different patterns)
Just be careful as they are in the vicinity of #2000 give/take.
It will pierce your skin if it is exposed to the nozzle spray/pressure.
Be sure to have the throttle open when bleeding/testing
