Valves in these can get "sticky" and bend push rods. Also displace the steel guide in the aluminum head. Usually from over heat situatuion. With my limited skills I rehab'd one in such condition. Was surprised how well it ran afterward. Oh, check out the starter and starter gear carefully when you have the tins off. Just passing along wise advice given to me. Sounds like a steal at $40.
